Summer Job in Measurement and Setting at Göteborg Energi

Do you want a summer job where you can work with measurement and setting while contributing to keeping the city's infrastructure updated and accurate? We are currently looking for someone who wants to be part of the team this summer.

Your Task

As a summer employee with us, you will work with surveying, guidance, setting, and documentation of Göteborg Energi's network infrastructure for electricity, gas, fiber, district cooling, and district heating networks. You will get to see how a growing city operates behind the scenes and contribute to ensuring our maps and databases are updated and accurate.

You will work both independently and alongside experienced colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge. Part of the job involves complementing our geographic database with measurement files and documentation, and you will also participate in various projects where you are responsible for situational documentation.

Your Team

You will belong to a team of 8 competent colleagues. It is a self-driven high-performing team where colleagues help and support each other. Tasks are distributed within the group, and you will be responsible for your own tasks, with support readily available when you need it.

Your Competence

We believe that you who are applying either have a university degree as a surveying or land surveying engineer, or another equivalent technical education, or that you are studying in the field and have completed at least one internship as a surveying engineer.

You are meticulous and can easily absorb new knowledge and apply it in your daily work. You can work independently and flexibly with different methods in setting and measurement technology. You are driven and meet deadlines. We are a small group, so it is important that you are unpretentious and have good collaboration skills.

It is advantageous if you have good knowledge of ESA, work in traffic and railway areas, and familiarity with utility and cable laying. It is also beneficial if you have experience with GPS measurement and working with Trimble instruments, Topocad, Trimble Business Center, or DP Spatial.

Even though we promote cycling at our workplace, a B driver's license and driving experience are required for this position.
